Mack, Jack & McConaughey (MJ&M) celebrated another incredible year in April with two days packed with exciting activities, including concerts, a golf tournament, and a fashion show. Over its 14 years, MJ&M has raised more than $90 million for 5 charitable Austin organizations dedicated to children’s education, health, and wellness, cementing its position as one of the country’s most impactful philanthropic initiatives.
The joint fundraising venture, created by Texas coaching legend Mack Brown, ACM Award-winning recording artist Jack Ingram, and Academy Award-winning actor Matthew McConaughey, supports CureDuchenne, Dell Children’s Medical Center, HeartGift, just keep livin Foundation, and The Rise School of Austin.
Thursday night’s events set the tone for the two-day celebration with a star-studded concert and gala at ACL Live at The Moody Theatre, featuring an unforgettable headline performance by three-time Grammy Award-winning artist Jelly Roll. Known widely for his commitment to giving back, Jelly Roll’s performance aligned seamlessly with the spirit of MJ&M’s philanthropic mission.
Friday’s fashion show, presented by Neiman Marcus and hosted by Camila Alves McConaughey, Sally Brown, and Jessica Bush, spotlighted women’s fashion brand L’AGENCE in a captivating runway show.
The signature Jack & Friends concert held Friday evening served as the triumphant finale, bringing together some of the most distinctive voices in Americana and country music for what Brown, Ingram, and McConaughey called the best night of music of the year. The all-star lineup appearing with Ingram included Ryan Bingham, Kaitlin Butts, Paul Cauthen, Robert Earl Keen, John Fullbright, Randy Rogers, and more.
