More than 400 guests gathered at the Four Seasons Hotel for the 29th annual “There’s No Such Thing as a Free Lunch,” raising over $420,000 to support high-quality, affordable care for thousands of Central Texans.

The clinic honored Jewel Mullen, MD, MPH, MPA, with the Neal Kocurek Award for Health Advocacy for her lifelong work advancing access to care and improving public health.

People’s new CEO Matt Balthazar introduced himself and talked about how his background as a public school teacher fueled his interest in health care.
