For four decades, Toast of the Town, St. David’s Foundation’s iconic series of eclectic events, has filled every month of May with parties featuring stunning venues, sensational special guests, and celebrated chefs.
This year a special party was held to celebrate 40 years of Toast of the Town and 50 years of KLRU. Terry Lickona, producer of Austin City Limits since 1978 and current co-producer of the Grammy Awards Show and KLRU, led a fascinating discourse from his home overlooking downtown Austin. Partygoers savored delicious bites from Launderette and custom cocktails while listening to blues and boogie piano player Henri Herbert.
Toast of the Town raises critical funds for the St. David’s Neal Kocurek Scholarship, the largest healthcare scholarship program in the state of Texas. For more information, visit toastaustin.org.
