St. David’s Foundation’s Toast of the Town takes over the month of May every year with a series of one-of-a-kind events. From private performances and culinary experiences to exclusive wine tastings and evenings with experts, these carefully curated parties highlight the best of Central Texas.
One of this year’s extraordinary Toast events was an elegant evening at the beautiful lakeside home of Kristi and Blake Stanford and co-hosted by Lynn Parr Mock. It was an intimate affair that commenced with cocktails and hors d'oeuvres and was followed by a delicious buffet dinner prepared by Certified Executive Chef Bertrand Goutelon. After dinner, party attendees were treated to a private musical salon with the renowned Juilliard String Quartet and ATX Chamber Music and Jazz Co-Artistic Director and pianist Anna Petrova. The private performance took place the night before ATX Chamber Music and Jazz performed its final show of the 2024-25 season which featured the Juilliard String Quartet.
This evening and the other 20 parties that were part of the 2025 Toast of the Town line up raised funds for the St. David’s Foundation Neal Kocurek Scholarship. It is the largest healthcare scholarship program in Texas, which has awarded more than 800 scholarships since its inception 20 years ago. For more information, visit toastaustin.org.
