Elizabeth Crowley Davis heads back to second grade at Highland Park Elementary

When school starts next fall, Highland Park Elementary will have a raft of new teachers. Seven of Highland Park’s long-time teachers will retire, including Jim DeLine, Beth Finkle, Lori Gates, Sally Hunter, Robin Maca, Charles King, and Ilene Pappert, all of whom will be honored at a retirement party at Highland Park on May 19 at 5 p.m.

One of those new teachers next year will be Elizabeth Crowley Davis, who will take over Ilene Pappert’s second grade classroom. For Davis, it will probably be like déjà v u all over again, but with a twist. She was a second grader in Pappert’s classroom 20 years ago. . .
