Austin Creative Reuse Honored with National DAR Conservation Award

Austin’s Thankful Hubbard Chapter of the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution presented the NSDAR Conservation Award to Austin Creative Reuse at their April chapter meeting in honor of Earth Day. Jennifer Evans, executive director of Austin Creative Reuse, accepted the award.

Austin Creative Reuse was founded in 2009 and focuses on conservation and reuse through creativity, education, and community building. It keeps thousands of pounds of reusable items out of landfills each year by selling gently used creative materials donated by individuals and businesses. . .
