Troop 410, Sea Scout Ship 410, Troop 2019, and Cub Scout Pack 55 brought reports to the congregation of The Church at Highland Park during worship service on Sunday, April 24. Scouts also led the offertory and Charlie Presnell, Troop 410 chaplain aide, led a congregational prayer of gratitude.
Troop 410 senior patrol leader Henry Snyder reported that members of Troop 410 went to a rugged wilderness camp in New Mexico over the past year, as well as back packing and fishing closer to home. Troop 410 has six new scouts this year and nine scouts received Eagle recognition. “
“Without this church, none of this would be possible,” Henry said to the congregation. Highland Park’s charter of Troop 410 began in 1956, and now includes Ship 410 and Troop 2019. . .
